I'm making chutney right now from our Liberty apples, which are plentiful. I think there is one Spartan in the pot, too, but we won't tell.
Anyway, as the lemons, vinegar, sugar, salt, chili powder and cayenne are boiling lightly in the pot, I am doing a little looking around for what others have done to make apple chutney. While I haven't tried this recipe, it looks interesting. What intrigues me is the addition of watermelon pickle.
