patria's pumpkin chocolate truffle cake from perfect endings

Wow!

Photo note:

"

ever seen a $125 cake that is smaller than your head? you're looking at one now. patria ordered a pumpkin cake from perfectendings.com. it was really rich and dense, definitely tasted like a truffle. description from the mrs. field's website: "NEW! Almost too good to be true, these moist, intensely chocolate cakes are filled with a delectable chocolate-caramel truffle cream and finished in premium white and dark chocolates." for more info about ordering, see here:

UPDATE: rob has a better picture of how small this cake was here: flickr.com/photos/rhoran/296983222/in/photostream?#commen...
my photo actually makes it look bigger than it really was. =D

Rob and I attended a early Thanksgiving celebration with friends at one of their houses. Everyone was to bring a dish, sort of like a potluck dinner. Even though there was only 4 of us, it was a lot of fun, and holy cow, a lot of food. Rob made an amazing porterhouse steak. I made a turkey, StoveTop stuffing, and truffles. Michelle made goat cheese phillo tarts, chilled asparagus, and green beans. Patria made salad and brought an amazing cake. We stuffed ourselves 'til we nearly burst. And then we watched Home for the Holidays, which was a movie I couldn't quite follow. It was kind confusing. I ended up falling asleep halfway through the movie from the turkey anyways. =D"
