So, my daughter is off to college. And she is realising even more just how good home cooking is. I've gotten texts and calls about dining hall offerings, and queries from the grocery store: "what do I get for breakfast?"  So far, she's not enchanted, but given time. . . ?

So, what are your thoughts on dorm food?  Any ideas, suggestions for a new college student?  Full meal plan, or the bare minimum with plenty of trips to the grocery?
